Cupra joins forces with Kiro for 2024/25 Formula E season

A new chapter in Formula E has been kickstarted, with Cupra announcing that it has joined forces with Kiro Race Co for the 2024/25 Formula E season.

The Cupra Kiro team will be led by Dan Ticktum and David Beckmann, bolstering Cupra's commitment to support young talents of the future. Both drivers showed impressive speed on the official Formula E tests in Madrid on 9 November 2024, with Beckmann achieving one of the fastest laps on the circuit with a time of one minute and 27.755 seconds.

Cupra will provide technical expertise and its commitment to electrification to further boost the overall sporting performance

The season will kick off in Brazil on 7 December 2024, with races scheduled throughout 2025. The new Cupra Kiro team will also be introduced in Sao Paolo on the same day, featuring a specially designed car livery for the race.

The official livery of the Cupra Kiro team to be used throughout the season will be presented in Mexico City in January 2025 ahead of the second race of the season and the first E-Prix of 2025.
