Zeekr showroom officially opens in Singapore

Zeekr's official facility, Zeekr Centre Singapore, is officially open for business. Located along Leng Kee Road, the showroom is also another milestone for the brand, for it is the 500th global one.
Zeekr says the showroom will offer customers "an immersive and personalised EV buying experience". Spanning two levels, the space exudes a sleek and futuristic vibe, with liberal use of metallic surfaces adding to the high-tech atmosphere.
The 009 is available as either a six-seater or seven-seater
Also making its official debut at the event is the Zeekr 009, which the carmaker claims is the world's first luxury electric MPV.
Designed to embody strength and project road presence, the 009 features monolithic surfaces and vertical lines. It measures 5,209mm long, 2,024mm wide and 1,812mm tall. The 009's rear end is built from the world's largest die-cast aluminium rear end, which Zeekr says strengthens it by 11% thanks to the elimination of 800 welding points.

With a wheelbase length of 3,205mm, the 009 promises plenty of space for occupants. Up front, drivers interface with the multi-screen interactive Zeekr OS system, which is powered by dual Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 processors.
Passengers in the second row have the best seats in the house. The two captain's chairs, dubbed 'Sofaro first-class airline seats', can be fully reclined and have several massage programmes to select from.

Multicolour lighting bathes this space, and there's also a 30-speaker Yamaha audio system (that includes eight integrated headrest speakers) for occupants to enjoy their music.
With regard to performance, the 009 is powered by two electric motors that produce a total of 450kW (603bhp) and 693Nm of torque. Despite weighing in at 2,870kg, the 009 and its all-wheel drive system finishes the century sprint in 4.5 seconds.

Much of the MPVs mass stems from the large 116kWh battery, which is supposedly good for 582km (WLTP). With a 150kW DC charger, Zeekr says the 009 can be charged from 10% to 80% in 30 minutes.
The 009 is available in two variants: A seven-seater premium variant for drivers who require more space, and a flagship six-seater model for buyers seeking even higher levels of luxury. At time of writing, prices currently start from $409,999 for the seven-seater, while the six-seater is priced at $419,999. Both figures include COE.
