Lando Norris takes on Silverstone in a LEGO McLaren P1

The LEGO Group and McLaren Automotive have created a one-of-a-kind, fully driveable McLaren P1. Comprised of a total of 342,817 LEGO Technic elements, the 1,220kg LEGO car can not only move on the road, but has also taken a complete lap of Silverstone, with Lando Norris behind the wheel, no less.
The car is said to be the first LEGO big build capable of steering and taking on the corner of a racetrack, and power comes from an electric motor consisting of LEGO Technic Function batteries and an electric car battery. No official WLTP range for the car has been revealed, although LEGO does state that this McLaren build can travel further than any other model before it.
The build was said to have been designed by a total of 23 specialists from the LEGO group and McLaren, consuming a total of 8,344 hours of development and construction. Catch Lando Norris take on Silverstone via LEGO's website here.
