Caterham has announced that it will showcase two of its electric concept vehicles - the Project V and EV Seven - at the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The EV Seven, Caterham's technology development concept, is trialling what the firm says is cutting-edge battery technology, all in a modified Seven 485 chassis. Caterham previously revealed that the car will utilise a 51kWh battery that can power the EV Seven for up to 20 minutes of track use, before requiring 15 minutes of recharging. Following this, the EV Seven will still be able to deliver enough energy to drive on track for a further 20 minutes.
Less has yet been revealed about the Caterham Project V - the second car set to make its debut at the festival - beyond the fact that it will sport an all-new design language created by Chief Designer Anthony Jannarelly. The show car is said to have been built by world-renowned Italian engineering firm Italdesign.
Caterham will additionally display cars from its current lineup, including the Seven 420 Cup and the Super Seven 600 at the festival. The brand will be celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, and states that it will have its biggest year yet at the festival.
