Developed as part of a collaboration between the Porsche Development Centre in Weissach and the Manthey engineers in Meuspath, Porsche has announced that it will be offering a Manthey Kit for the 911 GT3 RS, which will provide significantly increased contact pressure and higher performance on the track.
The Manthey Kit offers extensive modifications such as an enlarged spoiler lip with a new wing profile increasing downforce on the front axle, a light carbon fibre panel with a mounted carbon fibre shark fin replacing the rear window, and a split carbon fibre DRS wing element increasing downforce on the rear axle.
Additionally, at 285km/h, the 911 GT3 RS with the Manthey Kit produces more than 1,000kg of downforce, enabling higher speeds on fast and medium-speed corners while maximising vehicle stability.
Customers wishing to add more visual touches can customise their 911 GT3 RS with sporty accessories such as illuminated door sill guards in carbon fibre with Manthey lettering in red and white. In addition, the Manthey lettering can be applied to the car doors in either Neodyme, white, or black.
The Manthey Kit will be available in European markets from January 2025, and in markets outside Europe from March 2025.
