Porsche and Frauscher present another electric sports boat

Porsche and Austrian-based Frauscher Shipyard has developed the 850 Fantom, a new electric boat. After the open eFantom, which won the Best of Boats Award in November 2024, the closed version Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom will now be available as part of the limited First Edition of 25 units.
It will be offered in the Runabout and Air variant, both measuring 8,670mm long and 2,490mm wide, and boasts impressive acceleration and performance, among other attributes, all of which apply in equal measure to the Macan.
The Macan Turbo's rear-axle engine, used in the boat, delivers up to 400kW (536bhp) of power and is controlled via a Z-drive, with the control units housed in a waterproof box. Its high-voltage battery with a gross capacity of 100kWh also comes from the Macan, and its wire-rope mount suspension absorbs any shock from waves and high speeds.
With space for up to seven passengers, its rear swimming platform leads to a spacious lounge area with sunbathing pads. Its cockpit includes steering wheel and seats in sports car design. As with Porsche sports cars, customisation plays a major role, with upholstery in the cabin, hull, and deck able to be tweaked to meet personal preferences.
The new 850 Fantom offers four driving modes: Docking, Range, Sport, and Sport Plus. It has a cruising speed range of approximately 45km at 41km/h, a slow driving range of approximately 100km, and a maximum speed of 90km/h in Sport Plus mode. It also offers AC and DC charging of up to 11kW and 270kW respectively.
The first Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom is painted in the Oakgreen Metallic Neo and comes with Truffle Brown padding with stitching package 930 in Orange and will celebrate its world premiere at "boot Dusseldorf" in January 2025.
