Nio launches its third brand, Firefly, at Nio Day 2024

In conjunction with the launch of the ET9 on Nio Day 2024, Nio has also unveiled its third brand, Firefly, with the mononymous first product making its debut at the event. Pre-orders have also begun via the Firefly app.
Featuring a tri-circular headlight and rear lamp design, the Firefly sports short overhangs and an aerodynamic roofline to enhance its range, as well as a turning radius of 4.7m. It has been designed and engineered to meet both the latest C NCAP and Euro NCAP five-star ratings, with a strong focus on structural design, material strength, and passenger protection.
The use of high strength steel and aluminium alloys accounts for 83.4% of its body structure, and its front doors also feature double anti-collision beams for better side impact protection. Details of its trims remain sketchy, but the Firefly offers a split-level 92-litre storage space in the front with a drainage function, with an expected 1,250 litres of boot space.
Nio has announced that the Firefly is due to launch in China in April 2025.
