Maserati has held an exclusive two-day event, named the Trident Experience, to celebrate its 110 years of existence. Guests include the Maserati Italia Club, the Panini family, founder Ettore Maserati's grandchildren, and Matilda De Angelis.
Held at its headquarters at Viale Ciro Menotti, Modena, its distinctive tower was also lit up in blue to celebrate the unveiling of the GranTurismo 110 ANNIVERSARIO at the event.
The second day of the event saw 110 modern and vintage Maserati models on parade, with the standouts amongst the vintage cars being the A6GCS Berlinetta, the 1960 3500, the 1961 3500GT Spyder, the 1966 Maserati Mistral, the 1970 Ghibli Spyder and Ghibli SS, as well as the 1971 Maserati Indy 4200 America and the Maserati Indy America 4700.
The parade departed from Maserati's headquarters and made its way to the Modena Circuit, where a host of performance tests and races showcased the cars' capabilities. Alongside the evolutions on the track and road, space was also dedicated to the Maserati MCXtrema and Maserati Tipo Folgore, the car participating in the FIA Formula E World Championship.
A traditional local cuisine workshop was also held, aiming to emphasise the close link between Maserati and Modena, where guests had the opportunity to learn to create the perfect dough to make tortellini.
