Lamborghini partners with Sonus faber

Lamborghini looks keen to break into the world of audio products. After revealing a Lamborghini-branded turntable together with Technics and having launched a series of headphones and earphones with Master & Dynamic, the firm has now announced that it will be partnering with Sonus faber.

The speaker system, which will be offered in the Lamborghini Revuelto performance plug-in hybrid is said to be the product of a collaboration between Sonus faber's research and development and Design department with Lamborghini Centro Stile.

It is said to offer natural, clear and detailed sound, and features seven speakers in total. These will be powered by a full class D amplifier that offers a maximum potential of 750W.

A center channel speaker will feature in the car, designed to provide a distinctive sound experience directly in front of the pilot and co-pilot. This speaker will be supported by two full range speakers which are positioned right behind the pilot and co-pilot. These will enrich the sound experience by deepening its depth, enveloping occupants within an authentic acoustic environment.

Both doors of the car will also come equipped with a midwoofer and a tweeter, forming a two-way system similar to a Hi-Fi home speaker, for perfect musical reproduction. The system also gets a midwoofer to achieve prolonged vibration and reproduce high-fidelity sound, while a tweeter that comes with an ultra-lightweight NanoSilk dome will ensure that production of high frequency sound remains precise.

Lamborghini states that it will be offering a Sonus faber speaker system as an added option in the Lamborghini Revuelto starting from May 2024.
