Jack Cars Trusted Brand Showcase reaches Jurong Point

After making its presence felt most recently in some of the most-visited malls within the East and North-East, Jack Cars is now also giving West-siders a taste of its evergreen, parallel-imported model range.
Since the morning of 10 July, the Level 1 atrium of Jurong Point has been graced by a well-established group of Singapore's favourite Japanese car models, which visitors can continue to get up close with over the next week.
Among them, one will find one of the most prominent crossovers to have taken our roads by storm in recent memory: The Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid. The units sold by Jack Cars sport a slightly different front fascia which is unique to the Japanese domestic market, and are powered by a 1.8-litre hybrid engine.
While promising to be slightly more road tax-friendly, the crossover still provides the perfect mixture of power, practicality and fuel efficiency one expects from the nameplate.
For those inclined towards something with a smaller footprint, Toyota's Yaris Cross Hybrid is also nestled among the cars here. The compact crossover isn't just a compelling car for smaller families with its excellent manoeuvrability and decently roomy interior; its 1.5-litre, electric motor-assisted engine also gives it an amazing fuel consumption figure of up to 26.3km/L.
Conversely, larger families will find all the space they need in the latest Toyota Noah Hybrid.
Sliding doors provide the ease of entry and exit we love from larger MPVs, and are perfect for the often-narrow lots that plague local carparks.
With its boxy shape and tall roofline, occupants will also be comfortable no matter where they're seated in the Noah. The second row, however, is an exceptional treat in this seven-seater variant, with its pair of captain's chairs.
Worth noting is all three of the cars mentioned so far come with the latest of Toyota's safety assistance features too, including Lane Keeping Assist, and adaptive cruise control, to make life on the road that bit more comfortable.
If the Toyota trio isn't up your alley, Honda's evergreen duo of practical runabouts are also alluring options to consider.
The second-generation Honda Vezel continues to impress today with its sleeker styling. Like its predecessor, handles integrated into blacked out portions of its D-pillar set it apart visually from its competitors, but it also looks better than its predecessor thanks to its full-length rear light bar, slimmer headlights, and frameless grille.
If styling, however, is not foremost on your priority list, the facelifted Honda Shuttle's practicality is nearly unbeatable in the compact class segment. Its wagon body offers 570 litres of boot space even with all the seats up.
The Vezel and Shuttle's appeal as easy-on-the-wallet runabouts should not be unfamiliar by now since they are great at sipping fuel even without hybrid drivetrains.
But perhaps less known is the fact that the Vezel and Shuttle are also versatile with the space they offer. They are equipped with Honda's signature ULTRA-seats, which can be folded not just down, but upwards.
And above all, arguably most exciting are the mystery gifts Jack Cars is offering in what it has dubbed this "Jul-cy Roadshow".
Every purchase here entitles customers to a 'sure win ang pao (red packet)', which unlocks four different rewards including free petrol vouchers, 50% off your first year of motor insurance, 50% off your first instalment, or six-months of complimentary road tax.
For customers with specific needs, Jack Cars is also able to work out $0 downpayment options, as well as plans for those intending to take their cars into the private-hire arena.
All of this is built atop of Jack Cars' renowned and comprehensive suite of aftersales services. Buyers can still look forward to a 10-year warranty (applicable to the engine and gearbox), 10 free servicing sessions and even a free car concierge service*.
The Sgcarmart Trusted Brand Showcase - Jack Cars is now up and running at the Level 1 atrium of Jurong Point (it's right beside Subway!), and will be open to visitors until 16 July, Sunday.
