Ever since the original Ford Expedition was released back in 1996, its popularity meant newer versions have been released in subsequent years with plenty of enhancements.
Whilst the vehicle still has three rows of sets and a body-on-frame construction, the 2025 version will get a major makeover, bringing a new look in both the interior and exterior, as well as other creative features.

As with previous models, the Expedition will be available in a standard or longer "Max" model. It will be powered by a 3.5-litre EcoBoost V6 engine with a standard output of 395bhp and 651Nm of torque, or a higher output version of the engine with 434bhp and 692Nm of torque. The standard version will still include a 3,112mm wheelbase, whilst the "Max" version is 3,340mm.
Its new look is complemented by a front end with daytime running lights, with an illuminated bar below the grille connecting the distinctive front lighting. The tail-lights now have vertical elements, and the boot opens when approached with the key fob.

Adding to that, the lower half acts as a barrier for roll-prone items like balls. Folded down, the lower half can act as a bench or a makeshift table. The standard version has 623 litres of boot space, whilst the "Max" version offers 1019L.
The 2025 version also has a 24-inch centre touchscreen set on top of the dash on the driver's side. The steering wheel is also modified to not interfere with obstruction of the viewing experience.

The middle of the dash also contains a touchscreen, the core of the new Ford Digital Experience Infotainment system that will make its debut on the 2025 version.
The 2025 version also offers a centre console between the driver and front passenger's seat that can be slid back for use as storage. There are also holders behind the front headrests that allow for small devices like smartphones and tablets to securely face second-row passengers. The backmost rows feature a new split-folding bench to accommodate long items like skis.
