As the authorised distributor for Citroen in Singapore, Cycle & Carriage has unveiled the updated Citroen e-Berlingo, building on its 2022 predecessor, and is set to feature a range of enhancements.
The latest model of Citroen's popular e-LCV boasts a cargo capacity of 3,900-litres, an increase of 100-litres from its predecessor, made possible by redesigned interior wheel arches. In addition, the Extenso system features a folding passenger bench seat allowing for up to three occupants in the front row. Load length can be extended by folding the outer passenger seat down, and the central seatback can be transformed into a pivoting writing table.
Equipped with an upgraded 50kWh battery, it offers 354km of range (492km in WLTP City driving conditions), an improvement of 61km from the 2022 model. Its 136bhp electric motor also offers 5.78km/kWh.
With a wallbox charger, a full charge takes about seven and a half hours with a 7.4kW charge point, five hours with a 11kW charge point, and at its maximum charging rate (100kW) with DC, goes from 0% to 80% in just 30 minutes.
In its interior, it sports seats with denser foams and improved back support, with six-way adjustments offered in the driver's seat. Other features include a fully digital dashboard, a new multifunction steering wheel, and a 10-inch HD infotainment screen.
On its exterior, the e-Berlingo is among the first to sport the brand's refreshed oval brand mark, signifying a modern design evolution. Priced at $57,999, the van is now available for viewing and test drives at the Cycle & Carriage Electric Commercial Vehicle Hub at 330, Ubi Road 3.
