As the respite of the June holidays draws closer, Toyota Singapore is injecting the middle of May with a jolt of (partial) electricity - by bringing its petrol-electric range to the Level 1 Atrium of IMM Jurong, with the latest iteration of its Toyota Premium Brand Showcase.
From now till 19 May 2024 (Sunday), residents of the West can get up close with a variety of models from the Japanese carmaker, each of which is tailored to suit the needs and lifestyles of different drivers and their families.
Toyota Singapore has brought an array of hybrid models - alongside a special deal for the Corolla Altis - to residents of the West, with its latest Premium Brand Showcase at IMM
Even better, the cars are landing with exclusive roadshow deals, as well as an array of complimentary aftersales servicing packages - promising to make the car ownership journey sweeter not just at the beginning, but also over the longer term.
Before launching into Toyota's actual hybrid models, one highlight from this Showcase is the presence of one of Singapore's favourite family sedans at a special price.
The Toyota Corolla Altis, lightly updated just last year with extra features and tweaked styling, retails at the roadshow with a starting price of just $149,888*, inclusive of COE.

On top of boasting a flat floor and generous legroom for rear passengers, the car also comes with a large 468-litre boot. Just as importantly, its 1.6-litre naturally aspirated engine under the hood packs power and efficiency in equal measure, with the car capable of achieving a fuel consumption figure of up to 15.6km/L.
Still, as Toyota's hybrid technology shows, fuel economy isn't just limited to its more streamlined sedans.
Also present here are the Toyota Yaris Cross Hybrid and Toyota Harrier Hybrid, both of which are sure to hold great appeal, separately, to different groups of buyers.
The Yaris Cross Hybrid packs lots of space into a compact frame, while boasting a generous suite of safety assistance features
The Yaris Cross Hybrid is perfectly-sized for both growing or downsizing families, with its boxy shape giving all passengers great headroom - as well as a well-sized 390-litre boot. For a compact crossover, it's also well-equipped with a full suite of safety assistance features thanks to Toyota Safety Sense, and comes with adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, and Lane Keep Assist.
Those who want something larger and more premium will be well-served, on the other hand, with the Harrier Hybrid. Besides the sheer amount of space on offer, the Harrier Hybrid also comes with a sumptuously-put together cabin, replete with a dual-tone interior, as well as a must-have feature on any premium SUV: Ventilated front seats.
As mentioned earlier, however, it's not just the one-time purchase but also the longer-term ownership journey that Toyota Singapore is putting a spotlight on.
Those seeking something larger and more premium-feeling will be well-serviced by the Harrier Hybrid, which is still capable of commendable fuel economy
For starters, all hybrid models will come with a 10-year hybrid battery warranty, which effectively ensures that they are covered till the end of their COE cycle. Additionally, the Yaris Cross Hybrid will come with an additional two years of free servicing, while the Harrier Hybrid will come with five years of free servicing*.
The firm has also reminded its buyers that by offering a number of key benefits, its hybrid models continue to be excellent choices in today's climate.
Above all, since these are self-charging hybrids, there is no need for drivers to plug their cars in - nor suffer from range anxiety. (In fact, the Yaris Cross Hybrid has managed to go up to 950km on a full tank, while the Harrier Hybrid has managed an even greater 1,050km, during an efficiency run conducted a while ago.)
As is to be expected from the Toyota brand, the cars also come with the assurance of being reliable and bearing low maintenance costs. Finally, they are promised to hold their resale values well, too, over the longer term.
The Toyota Premium Brand Showcase at IMM can now be visited at the Level 1 Atrium of IMM, from 13 May to 19 May 2024 (this coming Sunday), and from 10:00am to 9:30pm daily. While stocks last, visitors can also look forward to claiming an exclusive Toyota reusable bag when they swing by.
