There's a new hybrid hatchback in town, perfect for those looking to get their commutes done in economical fashion!
Tan Chong Motor has started accepting bookings for the updated Nissan Note e-POWER (catch our review of the outgoing model here). Retailing from $143,800 (valid until 12:00pm, on 3 April 2024), the hatchback comes equipped with Nissan's e-POWER technology, giving owners an electric vehicle-like experience with its powerful and responsive drive thanks to its 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine which powers a 114bhp electric motor that generates a total of 280Nm of torque. Nissan places the official fuel consumption of the Note e-POWER at 24.4km/L.
At the front, the car comes with what Nissan describes as a V-motion grille that now sports horizontal elements that better integrate with the newly designed head lights. The car also now gets a newly designed bumper at the rear.
All these come packaged within a compact form that measures a total of 4,055mm long and 1,695mm wide, allowing the Nissan Note e-POWER to squeeze into our busiest streets.
But for an added layer of security, the Nissan Note e-POWER also boasts a range of safety features including a new Parking Distance Indicator, a Walk Away Lock and Approach Unlock, as well as a Lane Departure Warning function.
And once parked, owners will be able to appreciate the use of a Mizuhiki Motif on the car's dashboard, which adds a modern touch to the vehicle's appearance. This dashboard also plays host to both a 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system as well as a 7.0-inch driver's digital instrument display. The car also gets a new two-tier glovebox, while a USB Type-C charging port makes keeping your smartphone charged up easier than ever. The Nissan Note e-POWER offers a 340-litre boot at its rear.
The new Nissan Note e-POWER is offered here with a 10-year lithium-ion battery warranty and a five-year, unlimited mileage vehicle warranty.
